FAQs

Do you make in Australia or off shore?

Both depending on your quantity, budget & time fame.

How long will a special order take to make in Australia?

Allow 3 weeks.

How long will a special order take to make off shore?
Allow 8-10 weeks if coming by sea freight, allow 4-6 weeks if coming by air freight.

* During peak times you may need to allow 1-2 weeks more (prior to Christmas, Chinese New Year).

Can you deliver to another state or country?
Yes, we need to know where the goods are being delivered to then we can let you know the cost.

What is the 'block' charge?

The block is the logo which is made from metal (it's called a die or block), this is what gets either blind blocked or foil blocked onto the cover. It's a one off charge & can be reused.

How do I know what size the folder or folio should be?
We will work this out for you, but we need to know if you are putting anything extra inside as we will need to allow for these (ie - sleeves, loose pad, pen).

What format do you need the logo sent?
An eps vector file (Illustrator eps), we cannot work with a jpeg.

Why is a one off so expensive?
It takes time to cut all the components out, set the blocking machine to the correct temperature, get the logo positioning correct etc (the blocking machine set up is the same time whether we are running just one or 1000!)

What is the difference between book paper & book cloth?

Book paper is less expensive but not as durable as book cloth, most book cloths have a waterproof coating that makes them very durable.
